Expressions of Interest for NCEA Change Programme working groups
The Ministry of Education is seeking Expressions of Interest from the teaching sector to join working groups that would help develop new curriculum standards and resources as part of the NCEA Change Programme.
Te Marautanga o Aotearoa
Experienced practising teachers, particularly those with experience working with ākonga Māori, are encouraged to submit Expressions of Interest to join wāhanga ako working groups representing each wāhanga ako in Te Marautanga o Aotearoa (TMoA):
Those interested in joining the working groups are requested to send their CV and cover letter (maximum of four pages in total) to firstname.lastname@example.org by 14 August 2020. Click here for application requirements.
Reo-ā-waha, tuhituhi, pānui and pāngarau unit standards
The Ministry is also seeking Expressions of Interest to be part of expert groups – one for literacy and another one for numeracy – that will develop new literacy and numeracy unit standards.
Those interested are requested to email their applications to NCEA.Literacynumeracy@education.govt.nz with the subject line ‘Literacy and Numeracy EOI’ by 14 August 2020. Information about application requirements is available here.
