Two groups have been set up to help provide advice and feedback on the emerging ideas and to help us engage with the sector.
The Ministerial Advisory Group is providing advice to the Minister of Education. It includes educationalists and practitioners with expertise in Te Marautanga o Aotearoa and The New Zealand Curriculum.
A Reference Group of teachers and kaiako, school and kura leaders, and representatives working in education, is providing an ‘on the ground’ view. It’ll help us get a broader perspective and use their existing networks to gather input from people across the country. Its role is to inform, guide and work alongside the Ministerial Advisory Group and the Ministry of Education.
