Home About Out and About Events

It’s important that everyone who has a role in supporting student and ākonga to progress in their learning has the chance to contribute to the work we’re doing.

We want to know what you think about the emerging ideas developed by our Ministerial Advisory Group. You’ll find te reo Māori and English descriptions of the ideas on our resources page.

We’d love for you to reflect on the ideas – discuss them within your schools and whānau – and then let us know what you think.

As you read the emerging ideas, it would be helpful to start think about:

  • What do you wonder about as you read this idea for the first time?
  • Is this idea similar to something that is already happening in your school or kura or somewhere else? If yes, what could we learn from that?
  • What process could work to develop this idea further and/or what would it take to implement it?

You can join a discussion led by one of our Reference Group members in your local area, hold a discussion in your staffroom or attend a meeting in your region.

You can have your say, either as an individual or as a group.

The feedback you give us will help shape the recommendations of our Ministerial Advisory Group that will go to the Minister at the end of the year.
